At moi vault, we want you to be completely satisfied with your experience. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds on subscription purchases made through the moi vault app.

1.Subscription Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund on your subscription if:

You request a refund within 14 days of your subscription purchase
You experienced technical issues that prevented you from using the service
The service did not function as described
You were charged after cancelling your subscription

Note: For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google, as they handle all payment processing for mobile app purchases.

2.Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

Subscriptions that have been active for more than 14 days
Partial billing periods after cancellation (you retain access until the end of your billing cycle)
Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations
Free trial periods that converted to a paid subscription (if not cancelled before trial end)
Promotional or discounted subscriptions (handled case by case)

Important: When you cancel a subscription, you will continue to have access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in a billing cycle.

3.How to Request a Refund

Via Email

  1. Send an email to support@arc.moi
  2. Include your account email and purchase receipt or transaction ID
  3. Specify your subscription plan (Essential, Premium, or Family)
  4. Briefly explain the reason for your refund request
  5. Our team will review and respond within 2 business days

For App Store / Google Play Purchases

Apple App Store:

Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID

Google Play Store:

Visit Google Play Order History and request a refund

4.Refund Processing

Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to alternative payment methods or accounts.

5.Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:

  • You retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your documents remain securely stored and accessible
  • Your account reverts to the Essential (free) plan after the billing period ends
  • Storage limits of the free plan will apply — you can still access but not add documents beyond the limit

6.Chargebacks

Important: We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks can result in immediate account suspension, and we're always happy to work with you to resolve any issues directly.

7.European Union Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

However, by using the digital content or services before the 14-day period expires, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for the period of service already consumed.

8.Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my documents if I cancel my subscription?

Your documents remain securely stored and accessible. After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free Essential plan. If you exceed the free plan's storage limit, you can still view and download your documents but cannot upload new ones until you free up space or resubscribe.

Can I get a refund after 14 days?

Refunds after 14 days are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team with your situation, and we'll do our best to help.

I was charged after cancelling — what should I do?

If you were charged after cancelling, please contact us immediately at support@arc.moi with your transaction details. We will investigate and issue a full refund if the charge was made in error.

Can I switch plans instead of getting a refund?

Yes! If your current plan doesn't suit your needs, you can switch to a different plan at any time from Settings > Subscription. The price difference will be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle.
