moi vault gives you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data—including stored documents, extracted metadata, vault contents, family sharing connections, and account information—will be permanently removed. Active subscriptions will be cancelled and are non-refundable upon account deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
In-App Deletion

1.Delete via App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the moi vault app:
Safety measure: The app uses a two-stage confirmation process to prevent accidental deletion. Your account, all documents, extracted data, and vault contents will be removed immediately upon confirmation.

3.What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Due to our zero-knowledge encryption, we have no way to restore your documents after deletion.
4.Data Retention After Deletion
All user data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. We do not retain any of your personal data, documents, or vault contents after deletion.
Financial transaction records (subscription payments) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law. These records contain only transaction amounts and dates, not personal document data. Payment details are handled by Apple/Google and are not stored on our servers.

6.Family Sharing Impact
When your account is deleted, all family sharing connections are immediately severed. Family members will no longer have access to any vaults you shared with them, and you will lose access to vaults shared with you.
Note: You can also remove individual family members without deleting your account by going to Settings > Family > Manage Members within the app.
